Automatic spool palletizing line
The customer's request was to palletize, in pre-existing trolleys, spools of cotton fiber arriving from two different spinning machines not in line. The solution was to use a robot with a 3200mm outreach, equipped with a safety scanner to be able to cross the spaces between the two machines without obstructing the area with too invasive physical barriers, thus maintaining the possibility of pedestrian crossing and maintenance equipment. The robot communicates with the customer's MES to obtain palletizing data (quantities, orders and destinations) directly from the factory's logistics system. The system of roller conveyors and lifts, completes the plant according to the turnkey formula.
