Standard machine produced in several dozen units has the purpose of automatically palletizing medical bottles in a clean room. By limiting human contact due to manual operations, the twofold objective of having an automatic packing machine and of maintaining the contamination levels of the bottles at a controlled and repeatable minimum level is achieved. The solution is composed of a pitch belt for each line to be served (up to a maximum of three for a rate of 120 bottles per minute), and a robot that serves a rotary table of preformed boxes by composing and filling them according to a logic of predefined palletization.
The PLC manages multiple recipes where the palletizing strategy, the characteristics of the bottles and all the information and actions in exchange with the customer's MES are indicated.
