Control, Marking and Packing of automotive valves
The customer's request was to assemble small batches of valves for car and truck engines with different profiles and diameters. The solution was an automatic warehouse that contained the valve boxes to be checked, marked and bagged, a vision system integrated by us that allows us to carry out measurements and verifications of mechanical processing. A robot takes the valves from the pallets supplied by the automatic warehouse, checks them, marks them with the laser and finally packs them in a paper package according to the strategy chosen in the recipe. The PLC of control manages multiple recipes where information referring to the valve, diameter, length, work strategy and all information and actions in exchange with the customer's MES are indicated.
