Sorting machine for mosaic tiles
The machine has the purpose of selecting mosaic tiles, verifying the absence of chipping, shape and size errors.
It has a cadence of 12 tiles per second, about 10m2/hour with 15x15mm tiles and is available for viewing in our factory in Orbassano.
There are currently no machines on the market for this type of selection, the prototype is evolving for the recognition of colors and the screening of tiles in the desired tile format. The PLC of control manages multiple recipes where information related to the tile to be verified, perimeter and working strategy are indicated; it also provides to the customer's MES the defect statistics for the control of the production process upstream of the selection.
